AirKenpo (noun): the practice of speeding through any of kenpo's 154
self-defense techniques in ways that completely miss targets, fail to touch the dummy's body, and lack any sort of effective power. Forsaking the important aspects of training (developing power, effective striking, good dummying, practicality) AirKenpo practitioners rely entirely on the notion that the quick-as-possible, sloppy execution of a poorly-understood and idealized technique "against," a languid and unresisting "attacker," somehow demonstrates
the art, translates into real self-defense, or will at least get them students and a girlfriend. SEE ALSO: ACTUAL CONTROL; DUMMYING UP; FIVE SWORDS; IDEAL PHASE; MOTION KENPO; NO-TOUCH KNOCKOUTS; SLAP ART; YOUTUBE.
